Yeah man, do it yourself. Just don't do what I did and run your brake lines through your springs :S Get a haynes manual - it'll be a breeze. Just bleed your brakes properly! You dont need to change the pads on ALL 4 calipers - however, if you do your front brakes, you need to change all 4 pads on your two front calipers. Same witht the rear. OEM super hard brake pads squeal like a pig! I have new rotors and pads all around, very annoying sound, prolly until i wear my rotor in good. Spend the extra cash on quality pads. about those brake noises. It has been my experience that brakes make two types of noise: Squeals and grinds. There are others, of course, like the sound of rust being removed when braking after not moving the car for a couple of months. If you are hearing grinds, or metal-to-metal squeeks, NEW PADS QUICK. It is probably not the calipers making the moise. Does braking hard increase the noise Yes = need pads. Why Those metallic noises are made when brake pad is gone and the pad backing is cutting into the rotors. So if you want not to remove and either turn or replace a rotor or two, new pads quick.
